Native Tree Garden
The native tree gardens have been designed by Dudley Laing of Enviroscape, Te Kuiti and supported by the Department of Conservation, Palmerston North.
The purpose of these gardens is to conserve threatened and endangered New Zealand native trees and shrubs found mainly in the Manawatu and Rangitikei area.
Protecting our biodiversity means placing value on all native species. If we don't protect our biodiversity, we will lose part of what makes New Zealand unique.
